Mystic Lake

Mystic Lake, a seemingly magical and natural mountain lake, was enlarged in 1925 when a hydropower dam engulfed the original lake. Located approximately 3 miles up the trail from the West Rosebud trailhead, the lake provides excellent fishing and dispersed campsites. The lake has been stocked with rainbow trout and has therefore become a fishermen's destination.
